Set up your website

This takes about two minutes and only has to be done once.

1. Server check

PHP 8.1 or newer (this server: 8.3.33)
Database driver (PDO MySQL or PDO SQLite)
Image library (GD) for photo uploads
OpenSSL, mbstring, DOM and fileinfo extensions
Folder "app" is writable (for the settings file)
Folder "storage" is writable
Folder "uploads" is writable

2. Prove you own this hosting account

Install key

Open the file storage/install-key.txt in your hosting file manager (or over FTP) and paste its contents here. This stops anyone else from setting up your site.

3. Website

Website address

Use https:// once your SSL certificate is active – the site will then force secure connections.

Dashboard address

Your dashboard will open at website address / this word. A less obvious word than "admin" keeps automated login bots away.

This site is behind Cloudflare or another proxy
